It doesn't have to be public or even done with others. My goal was to point out that some of the challenges they've addressed would make for great talking points in an interview or discussion. Thanks for pointing out the omission on my part (testers helping testers... I *like* it :) ).Michael Larsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16180074963526979074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6890958153006612459.post-89427138071607015352010-11-03T05:58:30.091-07:002010-11-03T05:58:30.091-07:00"I currently choose to do other things with m..."I currently choose to do other things with my time."

Me too.

While I think Weekend Testers groups might be interesting and useful in some contexts, I'd hate for it to be a litmus test against which people are measured.

Many of us contribute to our profession, and to our continued professional development, in other (often less public) ways.Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16849072656100416768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6890958153006612459.post-86723435427640538972010-11-03T05:51:18.176-07:002010-11-03T05:51:18.176-07:00Hi Joe, thanks for the comment, and "zing!&qu...Hi Joe, thanks for the comment, and "zing!", that's a fair statement. I have mulled over the idea of doing something like Weekend Testers, but you are right, I currently choose to do other things with my time, including attend sessiond of WTE when I can. I'm going to update the post and include your comment, as it's totally valid (hope you don't mind :) ).Michael Larsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16180074963526979074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6890958153006612459.post-40151905297502137472010-11-03T04:53:19.497-07:002010-11-03T04:53:19.497-07:00"There's no Weekend Testers USA yet?
