Did you employ a team of doozers to climb into my mind while I was asleep last night and extract a potted history of my life?

Seriously though, great blog, it could have been written for me, all except the singing in a glam rock band and the methylwhatsisname! It felt very familiar reading it and I agree that introversion-extraversion is a continuum not an either-or. I can point at particular times when I have been more to one end than the other and I think there has been a general shift to introversion over the course of my life.

I do think that life events and environment and situation have a significant influence on where on the scale one is at any time. I was involved in a life changing accident almost ten years ago and it certainly influenced my degree of intro- and extraversion.

I am also aware of how I am in a range of situations and I enjoy the feeling of being naturally able to act as both an introvert and an extravert, although there are also situations that I'd like to act as one or the other but just cannot bring myself to do so! Maybe I need to spend more time in those situations to re-program the neural pathways!

Once again, great post!

Cheers, MattMatt Chttp://www.mjcolson.co.uknoreply@blogger.com
