I know use the term "mastery" to replace "perfection". Perfection is never going to happen. Mastery is a fuzzy target, but it's much more attainable :).Michael Larsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16180074963526979074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6890958153006612459.post-72595698301351934842011-10-24T09:58:20.285-07:002011-10-24T09:58:20.285-07:00Ha! My first thought on seeing this page load was "What's a Hatsune Miku cosplayer doing on a testing blog?"

As a tester and cosplayer, it is amazing how many lessons from one apply to the other (and I typically limit myself to one costume a year, but... this year I broke down and did two.)

Your lesson on perfection is one that's very much worth learning. Not only in cosplay, but also in software, the step from "good" to "awesome" often takes more time, money, sweat and dedication than most want to pay.

The next time I am frustrated at a product, I'll think of all the store-bought Naruto at the last convention, smile, and get over it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6890958153006612459.post-37886467864572919172011-10-24T08:33:30.634-07:002011-10-24T08:33:30.634-07:00Rebecca, as Clint Eastwod once famously said, &quo...Rebecca, as Clint Eastwod once famously said, "a man's gotta' know his limitations" and I know mine. I can do costumes, but I don't think I could pull off a wedding dress. After seeing the video, though, it would be the ultimate costume challenge, wouldn't it (LOL!):Michael Larsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16180074963526979074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6890958153006612459.post-87516255275052566112011-10-24T07:52:00.252-07:002011-10-24T07:52:00.252-07:00You know?
